TERMS

The following terms and conditions apply to the sale of all merchandise by Boca Systems, Inc (BOCA)

ACCEPTANCE - Acceptance of any products for which the BUYER placed a valid purchase order shall constitute BUYER'S agreement to the following terms and conditions

QUOTATIONS - All price quotes are valid for sixty days unless indicated otherwise.

LEAD TIME and SHIPPING SCHEDULE - The lead times quoted on custom products (all printers and most tickets) are rough projections and do not guarantee a specific ship date.  Lead times on stock products (generic tickets and most spare parts) are typically one to two business days.  Any special and/or accelerated shipping arrangements must be clearly indicated on the quote, purchase order and acknowledgement.  Accelerated ship dates may be guaranteed by the payment of a rush fee.  Rush fees vary for different products and turnaround times.

TERMS - Initial terms require prepayment via credit card, check (US funds only) or wire transfer.  Net 30 credit may be established after evaluation.

TAXES - BOCA is registered to collect sales tax in Florida.  Customers outside of Florida are responsible for paying their own taxes.

DELIVERIES - Unless otherwise agreed to in writing, all products will be delivered F.O.B. Boca Raton, Florida.  Freight and insurance will be billed at the carrier's list price.  A nominal handling charge may be included.

TITLE - Title and security interest in the merchandise shall remain with BOCA until payment to BOCA of full purchase price by BUYER.  BOCA retains the right to repossess, and any other remedies provided by law.

RETURNS - No merchandise may be returned without authorization.  Unless BOCA has erred in filling BUYER'S order, all returns must be prepaid and subject to a 50% restocking charge.  Shipping charges are non-refundable.  Return requests received more than 30 days after receipt of equipment will not be honored.

TICKET ORDERS – All tickets are purchased with the understanding that they are custom manufactured and of no use to any other entities.  As such, these orders are non-cancelable and non-refundable.

PARTS ORDERS – Spare parts are provided exclusively for the purpose of replacing worn parts on existing printers.  BOCA does not support the purchase of any parts for the purpose of upgrading, converting or in any way modifying the original function of the printer.  All parts are purchased on a non-returnable, non-refundable basis.  However, we may at our discretion choose to accept the return of certain parts with a restocking fee.

WARRANTY - All warranty work is to be performed either by BOCA or by an authorized BOCA service center. Shipping charges to the repair center are the customer's responsibility. BOCA will pay for the equipment's return via ground service. Parts damaged by negligence or misuse (bad ticket stock, improper operating conditions, etc.) are excluded from this warranty. (NOTE: The print head is a consumable part and is warranted for ninety days.)

  • New Equipment - BOCA warrants the equipment manufactured and sold by it to be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service for one year from the date of shipment.
    Repairs - A factory repaired printer is warranted for ninety days after being received by the customer. The repair warranty covers only the specific repair work performed and does not cover subsequent failures unrelated to the repaired components.
    Parts - Spare parts carry a ninety day warranty.
    Tickets - Tickets are warranted, under proper storage conditions, for a period of three years.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY - BOCA is not responsible for any direct, indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from the use of our equipment, supplies, parts and/or services.  BOCA's responsibility is limited to the value of any product supplied which fails to meet BOCA's specifications.

GENERAL - BOCA’s responsibility to provide warranty repairs, replacement print heads and maintenance services does not begin until full payment for the respective goods and services has been received.

PRIVACY - BOCA will not disclose any information provided to us by our customers, beyond that which is necessary to process your order and respond to your requests. You may opt out of future contact with us at any time by contacting us via email.

PRINT HEAD REPLACEMENT POLICY - BOCA provides a lifetime print head replacement policy (at no charge) for printers that exclusively use BOCA stock. We will replace any print head that fails while exclusively using BOCA stock, if not caused by negligence. 600 dpi print heads are not covered by this replacement policy.  (NOTE: BOCA will send the customer a replacement head within one business day of the return of the defective head. The customer must send some sample tickets along with the print head in order to assist in the evaluation of the defective print head.)
